such lovely designs, thanks so much! I made a “humbug” once, will give this a try again, although I don’t have beads, so maybe french knots.

French knots would work beautifully too. If you stitch it, I hope you’ll post a photo of your fnished humbug – I’d love to add it to the gallery of stitches.
