  1. Love this design. My 49Th Anniversary is April 28 so I will stitch this just for me.
Thanks so much I am loving your designs and appreciate your generosity…:)

    1. LOL – well spotted! This one, however, isn’t meant as a Royal wedding sampler – I just used the names and dates of Will ad Kate’s wedding because they were fresh in my memory from the other sampler. The full alphabet of both capitals and lower case letters is provided to insert the names and dates required for anyone’s wedding. ;)

  2. This may sound really stupid, but I’m working this sampler for a friend and I’m wondering how you do the upright crosses in the border…they seem to have a small circle in the middle? I’ve never come across this particular stitch diagram before.

    1. Not stupid at all! It’s worked simply by stitching four stitches into the centre and pulling the thread a little tighter so it creates a little hole at the centre where the thread has been pulled down into the middle. You don’t have to pull them tight though – you can just stitch them as little upright crosses and it will look just as god.

I hope you’ll send a photo of your sampler when you’ve finished stitching it – I’d love to see it and pop it in the gallery. :)

  3. Oh this may be just what I am looking for! My sister is getting married Feb 2013 and I have been looking for a design that isn’t covered in roses and girly stuff! Thank you!
