If the W and C are supposed to represent the initials of William and Kate, the “C” should be changed to a “K.”

It’s Kate with a K, but it’s Catherine with a C. :)
She’s known as Kate now, but when she’s married, she’ll be Princess Catherine and later, when William ascends the throne, Queen Catherine, rather than Queen Kate.
I’m sorry to be subversive, but I think WC is bang on!! I for one will be avoiding the whole thing, easy as I live in the middle of France and I don’t have the telly.
It’s a nice sampler though :-) I don’t know how you fnd the time to do all these lovely designs.

LOL – When I designed it, I laughed about the WC thing too. I won’t be watching any of the wedding myself, as we’ll have visitors that weekend and will most likely be off doing something fun instead.
I actually desinged this one for an ATC exchange – I’m stitching it on 22-count hargander to make it small enough to fit, so there’ll be a photo of the finished thing posted soon too…
This website encourages people to be creative , I enjoy work done my mother and grandmother many years ago.A lovely piece of work is legacy that can be treasured by your descendents so keep sewing.
